Choosing Abundance & Peace

You Are Abundance...

The birds are chirping like it’s springtime outside right now as I write to you, and the sun is shining into my home. It’s cheerful…
…My beloved fifteen year old cat last week seemed he may have something serious happening, but after some help and TLC from our vet, he came back with a clean bill of health and is quickly getting back to his old self again…
…My parents, who are aging and my step-father who has significantly progressed MS (multiple sclerosis), are in good spirits, completely peaceful, and operating from positivity…
…Yesterday, my mother got silly and playful with me in a way that I don’t think she’s been since I was a very young person. I laughed so hard and am laughing again now as recall it. I love to play, be goofy and silly, and it was so much fun to see that side of her again, and share that with her. It made me happy…
 
Each day we have a choice, now and in general. We will always have things happening in life, and circumstances or conditions that are not always easy. We can choose to listen to the voices of fear, anxiety, or panic. We can let our focus add to our experience, whether that be negative or positive. We can have conversations that support and nurture us, or conversations that leave us feeling angst. We actually have a say so in the network of thoughts that surround and fill our minds, and help to create our emotional experiences. We have a choice to connect to our hearts, or our over-analytical worrying minds.
 
Almost every day, for many years now, I take time to clear my emotions, energy, and consciousness. Sometimes now it only takes mere minutes or seconds, and sometimes I clear for much longer. In the beginning I was cognizant of time passing, and now, an hour can seem like 5 minutes, or in fact, no time happening at all. It has become effortless, as things often do more with time and practice.
 
However, even though I clear my emotions, thoughts, and energy, there is a second necessary piece. It is just as easy to walk back into the world and be impacted by a conversation or situation that could leave us feeling something other than peaceful; perhaps anxious, nervous or fearful. Negative or worried thoughts are more readily available in the “ether” or consciousness floating and traveling around right now.
 
We have a choice then. We can hear the bird singing outside and think nothing of it, or we can let it shine in some way. We can be grateful for the goodness of an outcome and let that warmth linger longer in our heart. We can find the brightness in someone’s playful way with us and laugh more loudly or fully or freely. We can choose to over-worry about those things that are unknown, or we can focus on those things that are sweet, joyful, and happy right now.
 
Each day, in addition to my regular practice of clearing energy, emotion and consciousness, I have happily begun doubling up my practice of abundant thinking and creation of positive (and higher aligned) outcomes.

This isn’t an everyday practice for me normally, but it seems to be something that creates additional value at this time for me and everyone I come in contact with, and for that extra bit of emanating empowered positivity into the space of consciousness out there. The more abundant thinking we create, the more it makes a difference for us, the space we hold in general, the impact we have on the whole, each conversation we have, and our ability to stay connected to what is important to us.
 
We can live in a field of abundance and love, or in a field of fear and scarcity. It is in fact, a choice of which we want to connect to and create more of.

On my fridge, there is a dry erase adhesive paper. On it right now are 4 lines:
 
What I love about my life… (this could also be phrased, “I Love My Life…”)

I am Grateful for…

I have Abundance…

I Adore Myself…

Each day I'm adding more things to the lists (I’m going to need more adhesive paper!). They can be little things. It doesn’t matter.

These may not be new ideas or practices for you, but now can be a good time to revisit them, and enjoy what they provide...

Under “I Love My Life…” are things like, I don’t actually set an alarm for the morning and wake up whenever my body (and higher self/light) wants me to (today it was at 5:00 am, some days it’s 8:30 am – it always ends up being the perfect time to get up and get things accomplished), my absolute love of dancing and that I found a cool studio with classes to go practice, my house/home and how the sun shines into the kitchen in the morning, that I have a safe place to live and make my own, that I get to call Nova Scotia my home and be here again, all the beautiful people and friends (old & new) who have lovingly supported me since my move (thank you beauties)…

...and in writing this down, we start to filter our thoughts for how much we love our lives, and that experience expands.

Under “I am Grateful for…” are things like, my mom and her love of me and our newfound dynamic and relationship, my step-dad and his love and help with all my videos, some specific friends who are like family and what they each provide, my awesome cats having good/strong health despite their age, my bed that provides me with a good night’s sleep, the clothes that have kept me warm through the past few winters now, my health and that I can go for a run whenever I like…

...and in writing this down, we start to feel more love and happiness and connection to the things that make our heart smile.

Under, “I have Abundance…” are things like, tea (I love tea and always have lots of different kinds), food, clothing and jeans (I have so many pairs of jeans), hats, people who love me, yeah toilet paper (the grocery store only had 24 packs for sale!), movies to watch (on both Netflix & Amazon), different kinds of weather to experience and enjoy (from snow to rain to fog to warm sunshine sometimes all in one day), people who say hello on the street, trees around me… The list goes on…

...and in writing this down, we start to watch for and connect to more and more abundance.

Under “I Adore Myself…” are things like, I’m unconditionally loving, kind, generous, funny, playful, adventurous, confident, gentle, curious, empowering…

...and in writing this down, we start to connect more to loving ourselves, feeling love, and an essence of gratitude for ourselves, by ourselves in who we are as beautiful people.

There are many ways we can begin to create and receive (that is, absorb and integrate) higher, more positive, experiences and emotions. The above lists are simply a good way to make sure that our thoughts, and our "threads" of thought, are connecting to the kind of consciousness and awareness that we want to actually feel and experience.
 
We’re not looking to be so positive that we disregard our emotions and human experience. That's where the clearing and healing of emotions, consciousness and energy comes in. But we take time to balance each part out – our authentic acknowledgement and processing of our lower frequency emotions and consciousness, and our connection to and creation of our higher frequency emotions and consciousness.
 
Each part of that balance requires our intention and attention, just like all things we do to have our lives be whole and happier. Sometimes it takes barely any effort at all, and sometimes these things require a little more of us and our focus to ensure we are strengthened, and nurtured, and living the experience we wish to have.
 
I encourage you, if you’d like, to find practices for keeping your thoughts attuned to empowered and higher frequencies during this time, and staying connected to your heart instead of an over-active mind. You can use the ones I mentioned above, or any of your own making.

All is well my friends. We come out on the other side of it all shining more brightly. We come out the other side more freed up and alive with light and joy. It continues to get easier on the Aligned journey.

Be well with yourself, it is easier now. With your breath directed within, hold yourself there in light and love, and nurture yourself. You are your own source of love and healing for happiness and happier moments. The universe is abundant, and each moment is an opportunity to choose the pathway you wish to travel. One is heavy and hard, and one is light and free. There is a journey to travel through it all. The ego wishes to escape and avoid, but your soul knows it wishes to nurture and heal. The ego wishes to fight and argue, but the heart wishes to love and be at peace within. There is light all around you, always, at choice for you to choose. It loves you, nurtures you, be’s with your human suffering. You are to know the greatness of Source within. You are to know peace, always. It is your destiny, or destination, should you choose that destination. You are always free to choose. So choose now, the happier path. It will carry with it moments of darkness as the darkness heals, but it is not something that one ever needs to fear, for it is brought with the greatness of light and beauty and grace of wonderment and joy and bliss to come. It becomes easier for you now, because you have chosen it. It becomes easier to see and know exactly who you are. You are the abundance of all things great and beautiful. You are the abundance and plenty of joy and harmony and everything you need in your highest good. “Yes” is the word spoken and you are on your way.

We can live in an experience abundance or scarcity. We always have a choice to intend in either direction.
