Something fun for us today!
I’ve been receiving some beautiful insights, energetic gifts and channeled information for Self-Love this week. We can never have enough Self-Love, and it’s just so yummy and amazing to feel.
We can go in and out of our experience of Self-Love, just like any other practice, or habit, or experience, or discipline in life. Sometimes we’re stronger at it, and then sometimes we need to strengthen the muscle again.
Self-Love isn’t always easy. We’re accustomed to looking outward in life. We look forward when we walk, or when we are standing and talking with someone. We look “forward” in our imagination when thinking of a timeline into the future. We look outward to the people we love and want to connect with, or provide for or give to. So it can be a contrasting feeling to then turn our attention inward to focus all that attention into ourselves.
And sometimes there are deep things within us to heal or acknowledge and those things wish for more love than we’ve given them in the past. They wish for our acknowledgement and seeing and noticing and attention. They wish for healing.
Healing is the disappearance of a pain body into the frequency of love or higher light and the freedom of space that is then available for more goodness. Disappearance. No more. And when we give ourselves love, we heal.
But it is a beautiful feeling indeed when give ourselves love. In truth, sometimes it’s one of the most delightful experiences we can have. Knowing how to give deeply to ourselves is one of the most empowering things we can do for ourselves.
Self-Love doesn’t just look like drawing a bath and relaxing, or going out for good food, or meditating, or buying ourselves something special. Though it can look like any of those things, Self-Love can also look like cleaning our home, or fulfilling on a project we’ve been putting off, or doing what we love, or taking action on our purpose or career. Sometimes Self-Love can be deeply constructive as well.
We’ve begun this New Year, and we like to relate to life in a new year as though we can clear off the slate at any moment and begin again. But the same goes for any moment of any part of the year. We can begin again right now, no matter how the day before went.
So what are we doing today to love ourselves? What are we doing to focus on what makes us happy, or productive or empowered? And remember, it’s not always the easy stuff. Sometimes it’s the commitment to our bigger selves, our more Aligned selves. Sometimes it’s about taking the actions that don’t feel instantly comfortable when we think about them. But they do feel so darn good as we keep going and forging new patterns.
What excites you and gives you joy when you think about it? What thing in the future could you get excited about and start working toward now? Don’t assess how well you did on one action toward the end game, focus on how far you’ve come after many actions, even if those actions are imperfect by themselves.
Can you, in this moment alone, get excited about the fact that you are you, and you are awesome; that you’re cool and talented and interesting? Because you are. Can you, in this moment alone, get excited about your untapped potential, and all the secrets and mysteries that your Soul and your life have yet to reveal? Get excited for yourself, about yourself. Because you’re amazing. You really are. No matter our mistakes, foibles or shortcomings. We are great. You are great. And there is so much yet to come.
Can you pick one thing right now, that you can be proud of yourself about? Even if whatever it was didn’t quite meet your expectations. Can you be proud that you did something, no matter how little, or how big? Or proud of a new thought you’ve had or a new perspective you’ve gained? Or just stinkin’ proud that you are you and that you’re here, in this classroom of life, learning how to be better all the time.

A channeled message...
(Take a deep breath before reading if you would like.)
Be still within yourself now and Breathe. You are a gift from Source back to yourself. And what a beautiful gift you are.
Focus now within and think of something you love. Think of an event or a favorite person or something that makes you happy to do or experience. Feel it right out in front of you.
Feel the experience of loving that thing within yourself, and the experience of loving it from where you are to where it is out in front of you.
Now begin to imagine that thing is moving toward you until it moves into the very center of your being or torso. It’s in the center of your being. And feel how much you love it there within you.
Now imagine that the image of that person, event or thing dissipates and is no longer there within you, but the feeling you had toward it stays. And it begins to grow and grow and grow. Now, as though you were once pointing your finger outward, and are turning your finger to point in toward yourself, take that positive frequency of loving and turn it in toward yourself. Send it into yourself even further and say, “I deserve this because I was born of original creation and I exist. I deserve this because I am of the Light and I am of Source. I deserve this because I am my own experience of Source within. I am beautiful. I am awesome. I love myself unconditionally.
Now, with your focus still there, imagine that you are now surrounded by pink light all around you. The light surrounds you on all sides, including below you. And begin to soak it up until it meets the place of focus right in your center.
Know you are Love and be that you are Love and oneness of Love for yourself within.
